Replay Studios was an independent video game developer that created games for the seventh generation of game consoles and PC, targeted for the international market. Located in Hamburg, Germany, it was founded in 2002 by Marc Moehring and Sascha Jungnickel.
Replay Studios closed down in 2009 after having filed for insolvency, resulting in shutdown of both official Crashday forums and Masterserver. By December 2009, a small group of dedicated players obtained the software, hardware and domain to create a New Master Server. This server used to be in full function, allowing Crashday to be played online once again. However it has been shut down some time after the release of Crashday: Redline Edition.
